Weekly Rally Against Executions in Gothenburg<\/h3>\n

Gothenburg, Sweden \u2013 October 21, 2025 \u2013<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) gathered in Gothenburg to mark the 56th consecutive week of local participation in the global \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays<\/a>\u201d\u00a0campaign. The movement protests the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating wave of executions and systematic repression.<\/p>\n

This week\u2019s rally marked the 91st consecutive<\/a> week of protests by political prisoners in 52 prisons across Iran, reflecting a growing resistance movement and underscoring the urgent need for international attention and action.<\/p>\n

Participants strongly condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s increasing use of the death penalty<\/a>, calling for the immediate annulment of all death sentences and the unconditional release of political prisoners.<\/p>\n
