Growing Global Outcry Against Iran\u2019s Execution Wave<\/h3>\n
More than 520 political leaders, parliamentarians, former ministers, and human-rights defenders from around the world have jointly demanded that Iran immediately stop its mounting wave of executions. The statement, released<\/a>\u00a0by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>), accuses Tehran\u2019s regime\u2014under President Masoud Pezeshkian<\/a>\u2014of orchestrating a \u201csystematic killing campaign,\u201d with over 1,800 executions reported since August 2024.<\/p>\n
The international coalition warns that this scale of state violence could amount to crimes against humanity, urging world governments and the United Nations to intervene before further atrocities occur.<\/p>\n
