Prisoners Stand United Against Fear<\/h3>\n

The 94th week<\/a> of Iran\u2019s \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays<\/a>\u201d Campaign shows growing unity inside the country\u2019s prisons. Prisoners in 54 prisons are on hunger strike. The men\u2019s ward of Zahedan Prison has joined the protest, showing stronger resistance against executions and fear.<\/p>\n

The Iran Human Rights Society reported on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 (Aban 20, 1404) that the campaign is expanding despite the regime\u2019s growing wave of executions.<\/p>\n

Zahedan Prison Joins the Protest<\/h3>\n

Prisoners in Zahedan\u2019s men\u2019s ward joined the campaign as Iran marks the anniversary of the November 2019 uprising. They honor those killed during the protests and call for justice.<\/p>\n

From the 1979 dictatorship to the 2019<\/a> and 2022<\/a> uprisings, Iranians have paid a heavy price for freedom. Decades of repression and executions have not silenced their demand for dignity.<\/p>\n

New Death Sentences Raise Alarm<\/h3>\n

Recently, Reza Abdali<\/strong>, an Ahvazi Arab political prisoner, was sentenced to death. The campaign calls for his sentence to be canceled and demands an end to executions.<\/p>\n

In another case, Ehsan Afrashteh<\/strong> and Mehdi Farid, both sentenced to death on security charges, were beaten and taken from Evin Prison\u2019s Ward 7 to an unknown place. Other inmates tried to stop the transfer, fearing that the executions could happen soon.<\/p>\n

Protests and Pain: Self-Immolation Cases<\/h3>\n

As repression grows, despair is spreading. Two recent cases shocked the public. Kourosh Kheiri, a driver in Khorramabad, set himself on fire after being fired from his job. Ahmad Baledi, an Ahvazi student, self-immolated after his small stall was destroyed. People in Ahvaz gathered to protest these injustices.<\/p>\n

Executions Reach Record Numbers<\/h3>\n

Executions in Iran have surged to shocking levels. Since early Aban 1404 (October 2025), 165 people have been executed. In just one week, 72 people were hanged, and 29 in only two days (November 2 and 3).<\/p>\n

Reports show more than 1,313 executions so far in 2025 \u2014 a horrifying sign that death has become routine under this regime.<\/p>\n
