Human Rights Violations and the Death Penalty in Iran<\/h3>\n

Gothenburg, Sweden \u2013 November 22, 2025 \u2013<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span>) held a rally coinciding with the adoption of the 72nd UN General Assembly Third Committee resolution condemning human rights violations in Iran. During the gathering, Iranian supporters of the Resistance congratulated the people of Iran on the passage of this resolution and reaffirmed their determination to continue the struggle for human rights, freedom, democracy, and justice in Iran.<\/p>\n

The demonstrators emphasized that the regime\u2019s escalating repression highlights the urgent need for international solidarity with the Iranian people and their organized Resistance.<\/p>\n

Participants condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s extensive use of the death penalty<\/a><\/span><\/span><\/span> as a grave violation of human rights, particularly the execution of political prisoners. They stressed that the death penalty in Iran has become a systematic tool of repression aimed at silencing dissent and instilling fear among the population.<\/p>\n
