This weekly act of defiance\u2014maintained by political and non-political prisoners\u2014continues to challenge the regime\u2019s accelerating use of the death penalty.<\/p>\n

In their statement, prisoners condemned the regime\u2019s intensifying executions, reporting 1,479 people executed since March 21, 2025<\/strong>, and highlighting the death sentence issued for Mohammad Mehdi Soleimani<\/strong>, a protester arrested during the 2022 uprising. They stressed that this pattern reflects a politicized and unjust judicial system.<\/p>\n
