Human Rights Violations and the Death Penalty in Iran<\/h3>\n
Gothenburg, Sweden \u2013 November 29, 2025<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a rally condemning the brutal wave of executions in Iran and calling for an immediate halt to\u00a0 death sentences<\/span><\/a>, while urging the Swedish government and the European Union to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC<\/a>) as a terrorist organization, following the recent decision by Australia to blacklist the IRGC after the United States and Canada, and to close the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Stockholm.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">The demonstrators emphasized that the regime\u2019s escalating repression highlights the urgent need for international solidarity with the Iranian people and their organized Resistance. Participants condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s extensive use of the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/ncri-statements\/statement-human-rights\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">death penalty<\/span><\/a>\u00a0as a grave violation of human rights, particularly the execution of political prisoners.
