MEK Resistance Units in Zahedan raise revolutionary slogans against dictatorship \u2014 December 12.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

December 12, 2025 \u2014 Zahedan, Sistan and Baluchestan:<\/strong>
The MEK<\/a>\u00a0Resistance Units<\/a> carried out a new round of activities by widely displaying messages, placards, and revolutionary slogans, openly confronting the regime\u2019s repressive apparatus. These actions underscored the people\u2019s firm determination to overthrow the ruling dictatorship and to establish a free and democratic Iran\u2014one that rejects all forms of despotism, whether monarchical<\/a> or clerical, and is founded on popular sovereignty and the people\u2019s vote. The activities reflected the continuation of organized resistance and the steadfastness of the people of Zahedan in the face of repression, executions, economic pressure, and systemic discrimination.<\/p>\n

Carrying placards and chanting slogans, the Resistance Units<\/a> condemned executions, intimidation, and the regime\u2019s policies that have driven rising prices and deepened social injustice. They stressed that Iran\u2019s future does not lie in replacing one dictatorship with another, but in achieving genuine freedom, equality, and a democratic republic.<\/p>\n

Several placards featured statements from the leaders of the Iranian Resistance:<\/h4>\n

Massoud Rajavi<\/a>:<\/strong> \u201cThe answer to executions and intimidation is fire and uprising.\u201d
Maryam Rajavi<\/a>:<\/strong> \u201cIranian society has risen up against the policy of executions.\u201d
Massoud Rajavi:<\/strong> Guaranteeing the rights of nationalities in the National Council of Resistance guarantees the territorial integrity of a democratic Iran\u2014without shah or sheikh.
The people of Iran want neither a monarchical dictatorship nor a religious dictatorship; rather, everyone seeks a future based on the people\u2019s vote.
Maryam Rajavi:<\/strong> For the people of Iran, there is only one choice: an organized uprising and the overthrow of religious despotism.<\/p>\n

Slogans featured in these activities included:<\/h4>\n

\u201cNo matter how many you execute, the Baluch cannot be ignored or eliminated!\u201d\u201cIran\u2019s democratic revolution will prevail, and the clerical regime will be swept from our homeland.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDeath to the oppressor\u2014be it the Shah<\/a> or the\u00a0Leader<\/a>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cNeither Sheikh<\/a> nor Shah<\/a>\u2014Freedom and a Democratic Republic.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMonarchy<\/a> and Theocracy\u2014A Century of Crimes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cIranians are awake\u2014they despise both Shah and Sheikh.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cNo to executions\u2014This is our nation\u2019s cry.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cNo crown, no turban\u2014your time is over, mullah.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cA dictatorship is a dictatorship\u2014whether with a turban or a crown.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Resistance Units emphasized that the tremors of overthrow have already shaken clerical rule, and that the struggle for Iran\u2019s liberation will continue with unwavering determination. They stressed that the regime\u2019s fate will be sealed either through escalating international confrontation combined with internal repression, or through retreat and being forced to \u201cswallow poison,\u201d but in either case, the path leads toward its eventual downfall.<\/p>\n
