Bucharest, Romania \u2013 December 13, 2025 \u2013<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a photo exhibition and book stall to protest the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating use of the\u00a0 death penalty<\/span><\/a>, particularly against political prisoners. The event called for the complete abolition of capital punishment in Iran and the immediate release of all political detainees, especially those\u00a0 facing imminent execution<\/span><\/a>. Organizers also urged that senior regime officials be held accountable before an international tribunal for crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n

The exhibition also expressed solidarity with\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">MEK Resistance Units<\/span><\/a>\u00a0inside Iran combating injustice.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">The clear message from Bucharest was to stop executions, free all political prisoners, and support the Iranian people\u2019s quest for freedom and democracy.
