Iranian PMOI supporters rally in snowy Stockholm outside Swedish Foreign Ministry, backing Iran\u2019s uprising against the regime.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Stockholm, Sweden \u2013 January 1, 2026 \u2014<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a rally in front of the Swedish Foreign Ministry, braving heavy snowfall and sub-zero temperatures, to express solidarity with the\u00a0 nationwide protests in Iran<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that began on Sunday, December 28, 2025. The protesters emphasized that the people of Iran will continue their uprising until the overthrow of the mullahs\u2019 dictatorial regime and that they will carry the voice of the Iranian protesters\u2019 uprising to the international community.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Demonstrators called for fundamental political change in Iran and the establishment of a democratic republic, emphasizing that the country\u2019s future must be determined solely by its people. They rejected all forms of dictatorship, chanting slogans such as \u201cregime change in Iran by the people of Iran\u201d and \u201cNo to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Shah<\/span><\/a>! No to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Mullahs<\/span><\/a>!\u201d to underscore their opposition to both the former monarchical system and the current clerical regime.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Participants also highlighted the courage of protesters inside Iran who continue to risk their lives for freedom, justice, and democratic rights. The rally sent a clear message to the international community to stand with the people of Iran\u2014not with any form of dictatorship\u2014and to support their aspiration for a free, democratic, and
