Stockholm, Jan 3, 2026 \u2014 Rally supporting Iran protests and calling for freedom and democracy.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Stockholm, Sweden \u2013 January 3, 2026<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 In freezing sub-zero temperatures, supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held their second rally in Stockholm, outside the Swedish Foreign Ministry, to express solidarity with the\u00a0 nationwide protests in Iran<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that began on Sunday, December 28, 2025. Demonstrators carried pictures of those killed in the uprising, honoring the martyrs and reaffirming their unwavering support for the Iran Revolution until the clerical regime is overthrown.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">The rally called for fundamental political change and the establishment of a democratic republic in Iran\u2014one determined solely by the will of its people. Protesters chanted slogans such as \u201cRegime change in Iran by the people of Iran\u201d and \u201cNo to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Shah<\/span><\/a>! No to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Mullahs<\/span><\/a>!\u201d to voice their rejection of both the former monarchical dictatorship and the present theocratic rule.<\/p>\n<p>Participants highlighted the courage of protesters in Iran who continue to risk their lives for freedom, justice, and democratic rights, urging the international community to stand with the Iranian people\u2014and not with any
