MEK supporters rally in snowy Gothenburg for Iran uprising \u2013 January 3, 2026<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Gothenburg, Sweden \u2014 January 3, 2026 \u2014<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a rally in Gothenburg in solidarity with the nationwide protests<\/span><\/a><\/span> in Iran. Braving snowy, sub-zero temperatures, participants chanted anti-regime slogans to express their support for compatriots who have risen up inside Iran.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Demonstrators called for the establishment of a free and democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of autocracy\u2014whether <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monarchical<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" rel=\"\">theocratic<\/a>. They held pictures of the martyrs of the uprising and carried banners echoing the demands of protesters in Iran, including \u201cRegime change in Iran by the people of Iran\u201d and \u201cNo to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Shah<\/span><\/a>!
