Iranians in Amsterdam support Iran\u2019s uprising \u2014 January 3, 2026.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Amsterdam, The Netherlands \u2014 January 3, 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a rally in Dam Square to express solidarity with the\u00a0 nationwide protests in Iran<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that began on December 28, 2025. Braving the freezing weather, participants echoed the call of their compatriots inside Iran for a free and democratic republic.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Demonstrators called for the establishment of a free and democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of autocracy\u2014whether\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">monarchical<\/span><\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">theocratic<\/span><\/a>. They held pictures of the martyrs of the uprising and carried banners reflecting the demands of protesters in Iran, including \u201cRegime change in Iran by the people of Iran\u201d and \u201cNo to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Shah<\/span><\/a>!
