Iran Uprising Day 16 Report<\/h3>\n

On Monday, January 12, 2026, the sixteenth day of Iran\u2019s nationwide uprising<\/a> saw widespread confrontations between rebellious youths and regime forces across Tehran, Kermanshah, Isfahan, and other major cities. Despite an undeclared martial law and snipers positioned on rooftops, protesters in Isfahan\u2019s suburban areas \u2014 from Najafabad and Falavarjan to Sepahanshahr and Baharestan \u2014 remained in control. Several regime institutions, including banks and a city council building at Simin Intersection and Malekshahr, were set ablaze by demonstrators.<\/p>\n
