Oslo \u2013 January 15, 2026:<\/strong> Supporters of the Iranian Resistance<\/a> gathered for several consecutive days in front of the Norwegian Parliament to express their strong support for the nationwide protests in Iran<\/span><\/a>. The demonstrators strongly condemned the massacre of thousands of protesters by the clerical regime and called for holding the regime accountable for crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"386\" data-end=\"730\">In solidarity with the nationwide protests in Iran, participants braved snowy, sub-zero temperatures and chanted anti-regime slogans to show their support for compatriots who have risen up inside the country. The rally highlighted the determination of Iranians abroad to stand alongside protesters facing repression, violence, and mass arrests.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We are releasing the names of six PMOI Resistance Units killed by the mullahs' regime during the nationwide uprising. These were young freedom fighters who wanted nothing other than freedom for their country.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IranProtests?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#IranProtests<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IranRevolution?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#IranRevolution<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/6GseocmARn\">pic.twitter.com\/6GseocmARn<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK) (@Mojahedineng) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Mojahedineng\/status\/2012065655759962418?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 16, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"732\" data-end=\"1246\">Freedom-loving Iranians called on the Norwegian government, amid the ongoing popular uprising\u2014during which many young people have been killed or injured by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2023\/04\/irans-regime-irgc-a-state-sponsored-terrorist-organization\/44858\/\" rel=\"\">IRGC<\/a>) and thousands have been detained\u2014to take decisive action. They urged Norway, in the name of the Iranian people and the Iranian Resistance, to designate the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/i\/look-irans-revolutionary-guards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IRGC<\/a> as a terrorist organization, close the regime\u2019s embassy and affiliated centers, and expel the clerical regime\u2019s terrorist diplomats from Norwegian soil.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1248\" data-end=\"1641\">Demonstrators also called for the establishment of a free and democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of autocracy, whether <a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">monarchical<\/span><\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">theocratic<\/span><\/a>. They held pictures of martyrs of the uprising and carried banners reflecting the core demands of protesters inside Iran, including slogans such as \u201cRegime change in Iran by the people of Iran\u201d and \u201cNo to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Shah<\/span><\/a>!
