MEK supporters rally in Cologne, standing with Iran\u2019s nationwide uprising for a free, democratic republic \u2013 January 17, 2026<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Cologne, Germany \u2014 January 17, 2026 \u2014<\/strong> Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a rally in Cologne to express solidarity with the nationwide protests in Iran<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that began on December 28, 2025. Braving the freezing weather, participants echoed the call of their compatriots inside Iran for a free and democratic republic.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Demonstrators called for the establishment of a free and democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of autocracy\u2014whether\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">monarchical<\/span><\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">theocratic<\/span><\/a>. They held pictures of the martyrs of the uprising and carried banners echoing the demands of protesters in Iran, including \u201cRegime change in Iran by the people of Iran\u201d and \u201cNo to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Shah<\/span><\/a>! No to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span international community to stand with the people of Iran\u2014not with any form of dictatorship\u2014and to support their ongoing struggle for freedom, justice, and democracy.<\/p>\n<p><img
