Iranians in Hamburg honor martyrs of the Iran Uprising with red roses, reaffirming their call for a free and democratic republic.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Hamburg, Germany \u2014 January 17, 2026 \u2014<\/strong> Once again, despite the snowy and subzero temperatures, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a rally to express solidarity with the\u00a0 nationwide protests in Iran<\/span><\/a>\u00a0that began on December 28, 2025. Braving the freezing weather, participants echoed the call of their compatriots inside Iran for a free and democratic republic.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Demonstrators called for the establishment of a free and democratic republic in Iran, rejecting all forms of autocracy\u2014whether\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">monarchical<\/span><\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0<span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">theocratic<\/span>. They held pictures of the martyrs of the uprising and carried banners echoing the demands of protesters in Iran, including \u201cRegime change in Iran by the people of Iran\u201d and \u201cNo to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Shah<\/span><\/a>! No to the\u00a0<a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline font-semibold\" href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" rel=\"\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Mullahs<\/span><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">The participants also placed red roses in front of the pictures of the martyrs of Iran\u2019s nationwide uprising as a gesture of respect and a symbol of their pledge to continue the struggle until the overthrow of the mullahs\u2019 dictatorial regime<\/p>\n<p>The rally sent a powerful message to the international community to stand with the people of Iran\u2014not with any form of dictatorship\u2014and to support their ongoing struggle for freedom, justice, and democracy. They also called for <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/articles\/2020\/10\/who-is-ali-khamenei-iranian-regime-supreme-leader\/19254\/\" rel=\"\">Khamenei<\/a> and the regime\u2019s leaders to
