Weekly Rally Against Executions in Gothenburg<\/h3>\n

Gothenburg, Sweden \u2013 January 27, 2025 \u2013 <\/strong>Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) gathered in Gothenburg to mark the\u00a0105th consecutive week<\/span><\/a>\u00a0of the \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays<\/span><\/a>\u201d campaign. The movement protests the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating wave of executions and systematic repression.<\/p>\n

Participants strongly condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating executions, and the disappearance of protesters<\/a>, as well as the risk of mass executions and silent deaths in Iran regime\u2019s prisons<\/a>, calling for the immediate annulment of all death sentences and the unconditional release of political prisoners.<\/p>\n

Iranians in Gothenburg also expressed strong solidarity with the\u00a0nationwide protests<\/span><\/a> in Iran. Participants chanted anti-regime slogans to voice their support for compatriots who have risen up inside the country.<\/p>\n
