Weekly Rally Against Executions in Gothenburg<\/h3>\n

Gothenburg, Sweden \u2014 February 17, 2025 \u2014<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a rally to mark the 108th consecutive week<\/a> of the \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays<\/span><\/a>\u201d campaign, a movement protesting the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating wave of executions and ongoing systematic repression.<\/p>\n

Participants strongly condemned the instrumental use of execution in Iran<\/a>,\u00a0and the silent deaths of prisoners in Iran\u2019s prisons, calling for the immediate annulment of all death sentences and the unconditional release of political prisoners.<\/p>\n

Iranians in Gothenburg also expressed strong solidarity with nationwide protests<\/span><\/a> in Iran. Demonstrators chanted anti-regime slogans to show their support for compatriots who have risen up across the country.<\/p>\n
