Weekly Rally Against Executions in Gothenburg<\/h3>\n

Gothenburg, Sweden \u2014 March 3, 2025 \u2014<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a rally to mark the 110th consecutive week<\/a> of the \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays<\/span><\/a>\u201d campaign, a movement protesting the Iranian regime\u2019s escalating wave of executions and ongoing systematic repression.<\/p>\n

Participants strongly warned of the urgent and life-threatening situation in Evin Prison<\/a>, drawing attention to the risk to prisoners\u2019 lives and the ongoing silent deaths in Iran\u2019s prisons. They called for the immediate annulment of all death sentences and the unconditional release of political prisoners.<\/p>\n

Iranians in Gothenburg also expressed strong solidarity with nationwide protests<\/span><\/a> in Iran. Demonstrators chanted anti-regime slogans to show their support for compatriots who have risen up across the country.<\/p>\n
