On 7 March 2026<\/strong>, thousands of Iranians gathered at Trocad\u00e9ro Square in Paris to show their support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>) and the provisional government announced by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, President-elect of the NCRI. The demonstrators endorsed her Ten-Point Plan<\/a> for a free, democratic, secular, and non-nuclear Iran, emphasizing that sovereignty belongs to the people, not to the regime or to monarchs.<\/p>\n

March from Trocad\u00e9ro to Place Victor-Hugo Symbolizes a Century-Long Struggle for Freedom<\/h2>\n

Participants included Iranian communities, members of ethnic minorities such as Kurds and other Iranian ethnic nationalities, and supporters of the Iranian resistance from across Europe. They marched from Trocad\u00e9ro to Place Victor-Hugo, symbolizing the long struggle of the Iranian people for freedom over the past century under both the Shah\u2019s monarchy and the current theocratic regime.<\/p>\n
