Iranians rally in Brussels urging EU recognition of the NCRI provisional government and a democratic future for Iran.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Brussels, Belgium \u2014 March 19, 2026<\/strong> \u2014 A large rally of freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance<\/span><\/a> took place in Brussels on Thursday, coinciding with the European Union summit and the Iranian New Year. Participants from diverse backgrounds\u2014including Kurdish, Baluchi, and other Iranian nationalities<\/strong>\u2014gathered in front of EU institutions to voice their unified demand for a free and democratic republic in Iran.<\/p>\n

Call for a Democratic Republic in Iran<\/h3>\n

Demonstrators carried banners and portraits of the martyrs of recent uprisings, reflecting the demands of protesters inside Iran. They chanted slogans such as \u201cRegime change in Iran by the people of Iran\u201d and \u201cNo to the Shah<\/span><\/a>! No to the Mullahs<\/span><\/a>,\u201d firmly rejecting all forms of dictatorship\u2014whether monarchical<\/span><\/a> or theocratic.<\/p>\n
