Solidarity and Week 113 Statement<\/h2>\n

The \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays<\/a>\u201d campaign, in its 113th week<\/a>, extends its greetings on the occasions of Eid al-Fitr and Nowruz 1405 to the people of Iran, especially to the families of those who lost their lives during the uprising of January 2026 (Dey 1404), and to all those who, over the past year, have been killed by the oppressive and repressive regime of \u00a0the\u00a0absolute clerical rule (Velayat-e Faqih).<\/p>\n

We express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all individuals, teachers\u2019 unions, retirees, workers, families of death row prisoners, independent media, and everyone who has raised their voice in defense of those sentenced to death. We hope that the year 1405 will be a year of freedom for Iran\u2014an Iran without torture or executions.<\/p>\n

Condemnation of Executions in Iran<\/h2>\n

Over the past year, the execution-driven regime has hanged more than 2,650 of our fellow citizens across the country. In a particularly cruel act, on the eve of Nowruz, three courageous young men\u2014Mehdi Ghasemi, Saeed Davoodi, and Saleh Mohammadi\u2014who had been arrested during the Dey protests, were executed in Qom.<\/p>\n

We, the members of the \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays\u201d campaign, strongly condemn these arbitrary and criminal executions carried out to instill fear and terror in society. We call on the United Nations, governments worldwide, and human rights organizations to put pressure on the Iranian authorities to ensure at least the minimum \u062d\u0642\u0648\u0642 of prisoners are respected\u2014especially those detained in recent months, who are being held under torture in conditions of communication blackout and internet shutdown, and who face the risk of execution. We also demand the release of political prisoners.<\/p>\n

Particularly under conditions of bombardment, prisoners\u2019 lives are at even greater risk. Many detainees suffer from shortages of food and lack of medical care. In the past week alone, dozens of prisoners in Chabahar Prison were killed or injured by prison authorities after protesting the lack of adequate food supplies.<\/p>\n

It should be noted that statements from this campaign for the past two weeks (weeks 111 and 112) were not published due to communication disruptions.<\/p>\n

Hunger Strike in 56 Prisons (Week 113)<\/h2>\n

In its 113th week, participants in the \u201cNo to Execution Tuesdays\u201d campaign are on hunger strike in the following 56 prisons:<\/p>\n

Evin Prison (women\u2019s and men\u2019s wards), Ghezel Hesar Prison (Units 2, 3, and 4), Karaj Central Prison, Fardis Prison (Karaj), Greater Tehran Prison, Qarchak Prison, Khorin Varamin Prison, Choobindar Qazvin Prison, Ahar Prison, Arak Prison, Langarud Qom Prison, Khorramabad Prison, Borujerd Prison, Yasuj Prison, Asadabad Isfahan Prison, Dastgerd Isfahan Prison, Sheiban Ahvaz Prison, Sepidar Ahvaz Prison (women\u2019s and men\u2019s wards), Nezam Shiraz Prison, Adelabad Shiraz Prison (women\u2019s and men\u2019s wards), Firouzabad Fars Prison, Dehdasht Prison, Zahedan Prison (women\u2019s and men\u2019s wards), Borazjan Prison, Ramhormoz Prison, Behbahan Prison, Bam Prison, Yazd Prison (women\u2019s and men\u2019s wards), Kahnuj Prison, Tabas Prison, Birjand Central Prison, Mashhad Prison, Gorgan Prison, Sabzevar Prison, Gonbad-e Kavus Prison, Qaemshahr Prison, Rasht Prison (men\u2019s and women\u2019s wards), Rudsar Prison, Havigh Talesh Prison, Azbaram Lahijan Prison, Dieselabad Kermanshah Prison, Ardabil Prison, Tabriz Prison, Urmia Prison, Salmas Prison, Khoy Prison, Naqadeh Prison, Miandoab Prison, Mahabad Prison, Bukan Prison, Saqqez Prison, Baneh Prison, Marivan Prison, Sanandaj Prison, Kamyaran Prison, and Ilam Prison.<\/p>\n
