150 MEPs called for Expelling Iran Intelligence Agents from EU<\/p>\n
Following the foiled terror plots in Europe, masterminded by Iran Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS), on nov19, 2018 a conference was held at the European Parliament in Brussels. 150 MEPs from six major political groups in the European Parliament, who represent 27 EU member states, demanded to hold the Iranian regime accountable<\/a> for its unacceptable behaviors and called for expelling Iran intelligence agents from EU.<\/p>\n The signatories include 4 vice-presidents of the European Parliament and 14 committee and delegation chairs. They criticized the current EU approach towards Iran; \u201cThe EU\u2019s silence in the face of brutal human rights violations in Iran and lack of any response to the serious terror plots in Europe is unacceptable\u201d.<\/p>\n At the end of the conference, the MEPs called on expelling Iran intelligence agents from Europe and emphasized: \u201cWe must hold the Iranian regime accountable for its terror plots.\u201d<\/p>\n They added: \u201cWe must also condition our relations with Iran to an improvement of human rights and women\u2019s rights, and a halt to executions.\u201d<\/p>\n
