Rally in Stockholm condemns executions of PMOI prisoners and January protesters while backing a democratic Iran.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Stockholm, Sweden \u2013 April 11, 2026<\/strong> \u2014 Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance<\/strong>, gathered in front of the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm to support the overthrow of the ruling clerical dictatorship in Iran. They also rejected the former monarchical<\/a>\u00a0dictatorship and voiced their backing for the establishment of a democratic republic.<\/p>\n
Participants, described as freedom-loving Iranians, condemned the **executions of political prisoners<\/strong>, including members of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (**PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) and **protesters detained during the January uprising<\/strong>, calling the executions acts of repression aimed at suppressing dissent.<\/p>\n**
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1640\" data-end=\"1886\">Demonstrators chanted slogans calling for regime change and the establishment of a free democratic republic. They also called for the closure of the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Sweden, which they described as a center for terrorism and espionage.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1888\" data-end=\"2074\">Protesters rejected both the former monarchical system and the current religious dictatorship, stating that Iran\u2019s future should be determined by its people through democratic processes.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2076\" data-end=\"2313\">They expressed support for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/viewpoints\/tomorrow-s-iran\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ten-point plan<\/a> proposed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Maryam Rajavi<\/span><\/span><\/a>, the President-elect of the\u00a0<a
