Malm\u00f6, Sweden \u2013 April 18, 2026:<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) held a rally in Malm\u00f6 to protest the execution of political prisoners<\/span><\/a> in Iran.<\/p>\n
Participants also commemorated the martyrs of April 19, 1972, and 1975\u2014dates that mark the execution of 13 political prisoners by the\u00a0 Shah\u2019<\/span><\/a>s regime<\/span>, remembered by Iranians as \u201c 30 Farvardin<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Demonstrators strongly condemned the actions of the mullahs\u2019 criminal terrorist regime, describing the executions as a blatant violation of human rights. During the rally, participants paid tribute to the martyrs by holding their photos and reaffirmed their commitment to continue the struggle against the mullahs\u2019 regime until its overthrow and the establishment of peace, freedom, and justice in a democratic republic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">They also called for regime change and urged the Swedish government to adopt a firm stance against the regime\u2019s ongoing human rights abuses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\"><strong>Call for International Support<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Organizers of the rally in Malm\u00f6 urged the Swedish public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people\u2019s unequivocal rejection of all forms of dictatorship\u2014whether <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/iranian-resistance\/2026\/02\/announcement-of-a-provisional-government-by-the-national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/84244\/\">monarchical<\/a>\u00a0or
