Rally in Gothenburg honors Dr. Kazem Rajavi, condemns executions in Iran, and supports a democratic future.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Gothenburg, Sweden \u2014 April 25, 2026 \u2014<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a><\/span>) gathered to commemorate the anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Kazem Rajavi<\/span><\/a>. Freedom-loving Iranians paid tribute to Professor Rajavi<\/span><\/a>,, a distinguished human rights advocate and a symbol of resistance against tyranny.<\/p>\n
Participants also condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s execution of PMOI<\/span><\/a>\u00a0political prisoners <\/strong>and **protesters involved in the January 2026 uprising<\/strong>, while honoring their memory.<\/p>\n**
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Speakers and attendees further expressed support for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/viewpoints\/plan-for-future-of-iran\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ten-Point Plan<\/a> proposed by Mrs. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Maryam Rajavi<\/span><\/span><\/a>, describing it as a roadmap for a future democratic Iran based on pluralism, gender equality, separation of religion and state, and respect for human rights. The rally also underscored the Iranian people\u2019s demand for a democratic republic, firmly rejecting both the current theocratic regime and any return to <a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">monarchy<\/span><\/a>. Protesters voiced support for the democratic alternative, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/iranian-resistance\/2026\/02\/announcement-of-a-provisional-government-by-the-national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/84244\/\" rel=\"\">Provisional Government<\/a> proposed by the NCRI, as well as the <a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline\" href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">Resistance Units<\/span><\/a> inside Iran, which continue to Support<\/h3>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:pb-2\">Organizers of the rally in Gothenburg urged the Swedish public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people\u2019s clear rejection of all forms of dictatorship, whether <a class=\"reset interactable cursor-pointer decoration-1 underline-offset-1 text-super hover:underline\"
