PMOI supporters rally in Gothenburg, calling for regime change and a democratic Iran.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Gothenburg, Sweden \u2014 July 11, 2026<\/strong> \u2014 \u00a0Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) held a rally in Gothenburg, calling for the establishment of a free and democratic republic in Iran and voicing opposition to the ruling clerical regime. Participants chanted slogans demanding regime change and called for the closure of the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Sweden, which they condemned as a hub for terrorism and espionage.<\/p>\n

Protesters rejected both the former monarchy<\/a> and the current religious dictatorship, stressing that Iran\u2019s future must be determined by a democratic alternative. They also expressed strong support for the MEK\u2019s Resistance Units<\/strong> operating inside Iran, recognizing their role in organizing protests and challenging the regime from within.<\/p>\n
