Oslo rally participants welcome the UK\u2019s IRGC terror designation and honor victims of Iran\u2019s repression.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Oslo, Norway \u2013 July 18, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Following the UK government\u2019s decision to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC<\/a>) as a terrorist organization, supporters of the **Iranian Resistance (NCRI <\/a>and PMOI<\/span><\/a>)<\/strong> held a rally in Oslo to welcome the move.<\/p>\n**
**Mr. Parviz Khazaei,<\/strong> representative of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in the Nordic countries, attended the rally.<\/p>\n**
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Participants described the proscription of the IRGC as a significant and long-overdue step toward holding the Iranian regime accountable for its terrorism, domestic repression, and destabilizing activities across the region. They welcomed the decision as a major blow to the ruling clerical regime in Tehran and stressed the need for continued international action against the regime\u2019s principal instrument of repression and terrorism.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">During the rally, demonstrators carried portraits of martyrs of Iran\u2019s nationwide uprisings, as well as political prisoners and protesters who were executed by the clerical regime. They called for the accountability and prosecution of the regime\u2019s leaders and all those responsible for these crimes, while reaffirming their determination to continue the struggle until the overthrow of the religious dictatorship ruling Iran.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Iranian Resistance Supporters in Oslo Welcome UK Listing of IRGC as Terrorist Organization \u2013Video 3\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Udt9Ru6hsZo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Demonstrators also called for the closure of the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Norway and the expulsion of its agents from the country through chants and banners displayed during the rally. They further called for regime change and the establishment of a democratic republic, rejecting both the former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monarchy<\/a> and the current clerical
