Washington, DC \u2013 July 25, 2026:<\/strong> Iranian American supporters of the Iranian Resistance<\/span><\/a> gathered at the Lincoln Memorial to protest the execution of political prisoner and PMOI member Mehdi Khanaki<\/span><\/a><\/strong>, who was executed for his alleged involvement in Iran\u2019s January uprising. Demonstrators condemned the rising use of the death penalty and called for international accountability for the regime\u2019s human rights violations. They also demanded the immediate and **unconditional release of all political prisoners<\/strong> in Iran.<\/p>\n**
