August 9, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 The 30th Free Iran Telethon is now entering its third day. Building on the final call issued ahead of the campaign, Simay-e Azadi<\/a> (INTV<\/a>)\u2014the independent 24-hour Persian-language satellite channel that has operated for more than three decades solely on viewer support\u2014launched its live broadcasts on Friday, August 7, and the campaign has continued through Sunday, August 9, 2026.<\/div>\n

As an independent broadcaster receiving no funding from any government or foreign power, Simay-e Azadi<\/a> relies entirely on public contributions to remain on air and provide uncensored news and information amid intensifying regime censorship.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, August 8, supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) in Gothenburg<\/strong>, Sweden, gathered in a demonstration and expressed their support for the Free Iran Telethon campaign. They announced their readiness to participate in the campaign and make their contributions to Simay-e Azadi in support of the channel and its continued broadcasting.<\/p>\n
