Effretikon, Switzerland \u2013 August 8, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) held a photo exhibition and book table in protest against the Iranian regime\u2019s increasing use of the death penalty<\/a>, particularly against political prisoners. The event also expressed solidarity with the \u201cNo to Execution<\/a>\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n

Call to Abolish the Death Penalty in Iran<\/h4>\n

The event called for the complete abolition of the death penalty in Iran and the unconditional release of all political prisoners, particularly those at imminent risk of execution. Organizers also called for senior Iranian regime officials to be held accountable before an international tribunal for alleged crimes against humanity.<\/p>\n
