Bern, Switzerland \u2014 August 15, 2026 \u2014<\/strong> Supporters of the Iranian Resistance<\/a> gathered in Bern to commemorate the anniversary of the 1988 massacre<\/strong><\/a> of political prisoners in Iran.<\/p>\n

The event called for justice for those killed during the 1988 massacre and for all victims who lost their lives in the Iranian people\u2019s struggle for freedom. Participants also stressed the importance of preserving the memory of those who sacrificed their lives in the pursuit of freedom and human rights.<\/p>\n

At the dignified event, participants paid tribute to the victims\u2019 ultimate sacrifice by laying flowers before photographs of the victims of the 1988 massacre, those who lost their lives during the uprisings, and political prisoners.<\/p>\n
