MEK Resistance Units in Zahedan display slogans rejecting both the Shah and mullahs and calling for a democratic republic.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

On Friday, August 21, 2026<\/strong>, MEK<\/a> Resistance Units<\/a> in Zahedan carried out activities by displaying banners bearing a series of protest slogans against dictatorship and reaffirming their call for freedom, equality, and a democratic republic in Iran.<\/p>\n

The slogans explicitly rejected both monarchical and clerical dictatorship and emphasized the Iranian people\u2019s demand for freedom and equality.<\/p>\n

Slogans Displayed by the Resistance Units in Zahedan<\/h3>\n

Among the slogans displayed were:<\/p>\n

  • \u201cBaluchestan is awake\u2014it rejects both Shah<\/a> and mullahs.\u201d<\/li>\n
  • \u201cThe curse of the people and history upon the bloodthirsty Shah and mullahs.\u201d<\/li>\n
  • \u201cDown with the oppressor, be it the Shah or the\u00a0Supreme Leader<\/a>.\u201d<\/li>\n
  • \u201cNeither monarchy nor the Supreme Leadership\u2014freedom and equality.\u201d<\/li>\n
  • \u201cWe want neither Shah nor mullahs\u2014damn the dictators.\u201d<\/li>\n
  • \u201cNeither mullahs nor Shah\u2014freedom and a democratic republic.\u201d<\/li>\n
  • \u201cFrom Zahedan to Tehran\u2014down with the oppressor, be it the Shah <\/a>or the Supreme Leader<\/a>.\u201d<\/li>\n
  • \u201cNeither Shah nor mullahs\u2014the demand of the Iranian people is a democratic republic.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Messages by Resistance Leader Massoud Rajavi<\/h3>\n

    The banners also featured messages from Mr. Massoud Rajavi<\/a>, leader of the Iranian Resistance, including:<\/p>\n

    \u201cUnder the Velayat-e Faqih regime, the president is in reality nothing more than a quartermaster. The rest is merely ceremony and formalities.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \n

    \u201cReduce five million liters of gasoline daily from the IRGC, the Basij, the Intelligence Ministry, and the State Security Force\u201420 million liters in total\u2014and there will be no shortage anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \u201cThe National Solidarity Fundraising campaign with Simay-e Azadi<\/a> was a ray of light from the battle of battles that was blazing at the University of Independence and Freedom.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \u201cOur promise, and that of Iran\u2019s brave sons and daughters, to the regime\u2019s leaders, executioners, torturers, and mercenaries is justice in the court of the risen people of Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \u201cThe fire of the people\u2019s uprising and the overthrow of the regime are ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \u201cHail to the people who stood firm. Hail to the martyrs who illuminated the path. Bravo to the rebels, the brave sons and daughters of Iran.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \u201cReligious dictatorship, like monarchical dictatorship, will be consigned to the grave by the people\u2019s uprising.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    Messages from Mrs. Maryam Rajavi<\/a>, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/a>), were also displayed:<\/p>\n

    \u201cUnder this plundering regime, the people\u2019s table grows smaller every day, the number of people living below the poverty and hunger line increases, and the queues of the unemployed grow longer.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \u201cAs long as this regime remains in power, poverty, inflation, and unemployment will intensify. The only answer is solidarity, uprising, and protest.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \u201cThe poverty and hunger of the people are the result of 48 years of rule by a regime that plunders the country\u2019s wealth.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

    \u201cThrough their successive uprisings, the people of Iran have rejected both religious dictatorship and the Shah<\/a>\u2019s dictatorship.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
