PMOI supporters rally outside Sweden\u2019s parliament in Stockholm, condemning executions and demanding freedom for political prisoners.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Stockholm, Sweden \u2013 August 22, 2026:<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/span><\/a>) gathered outside the Swedish Parliament in Stockholm to condemn the execution of Ghaem Hosseini<\/a>\u00a0and Shahram Sadeghi<\/a>, two protesters detained during Iran\u2019s January 2026 nationwide uprising. The demonstrators also called for an immediate end to the execution of PMOI political prisoners and other activists detained during the January 2026 uprising.<\/p>\n

Calls for Swedish Action Against Executions and Terrorism<\/h3>\n

The protesters called on the Swedish government to take decisive action against the Iranian regime in response to what they described as its ongoing executions and terrorist activities. Their demands included the closure of the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Stockholm, which they described as a center for espionage and terrorism. They also called for the immediate and unconditional release of all political prisoners and protesters detained in Iran.<\/p>\n
