Supporters of the Iranian Resistance hold a rally in Oslo, condemning executions and backing a democratic alternative.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Oslo, Norway \u2013 August 22, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Supporters of the Iranian Resistance<\/span><\/a> held a rally in Oslo to condemn the execution of political prisoners and the continued detention of protesters arrested during Iran\u2019s January 2026 uprising.<\/p>\n
Participants paid tribute to the victims by holding their photographs and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the struggle until the overthrow of the regime and the establishment of peace, freedom, and justice in a democratic republic.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:align-top\">They called for regime change and urged the Norwegian government to adopt a firm stance against the regime\u2019s ongoing human rights violations. They also demanded the closure of the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Norway, describing it as a center for espionage and terrorism.<\/p>\n<p class=\"my-2 [&+p]:mt-4 [&_strong:has(+br)]:inline-block [&_strong:has(+br)]:align-top\">The protesters rejected all forms of dictatorship, whether monarchical or theocratic, emphasizing their opposition to both the rule of the Shah and the current mullah-led regime. They expressed support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/\" rel=\"\"><span
