PMOI supporters rally in Vancouver to condemn executions and call for a free, democratic republic in Iran.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Vancouver, Canada \u2013 August 22, 2026:<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) held a rally in Vancouver to condemn the execution of political prisoners in Iran, including PMOI members and protesters detained during the January 2026 uprising.<\/p>\n
Demonstrators denounced the executions as a grave violation of human rights and condemned what they described as the Iranian regime\u2019s continued repression of political opponents and peaceful protesters. Participants paid tribute to the victims by holding their photographs and honoring their memory.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The demonstrators reaffirmed their determination to continue supporting the Iranian people\u2019s struggle for freedom, democracy, and justice. They emphasized that the Iranian people have repeatedly rejected all forms of dictatorship, whether <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/iranian-resistance\/2026\/02\/announcement-of-a-provisional-government-by-the-national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/84244\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monarchical<\/a> or theocratic.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers urged governments and international institutions to recognize the Iranian people\u2019s aspirations for freedom and democracy
