PMOI supporters commemorate the 61st anniversary of the organization\u2019s founding in Cologne, Bremen, and Luxembourg.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

September 5, 2026:<\/strong> Iranian communities and supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) in Cologne and Bremen, Germany, and Luxembourg<\/strong> commemorated the 61st anniversary of the founding of the PMOI<\/strong>, honoring the organization\u2019s founders, Mohammad Hanifnejad<\/a><\/strong>, Saeid Mohsen<\/a><\/strong>, and Ali Asghar Badizadegan<\/a><\/strong>, as well as its members and supporters who have sacrificed their lives in the struggle for freedom, democracy, and human rights in Iran.<\/p>\n

The commemorative gatherings brought together freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance, who marked more than six decades of resistance against dictatorship and reaffirmed their commitment to the cause of a free and democratic Iran.<\/p>\n

The events featured speeches, messages, and commemorative activities highlighting the history of the PMOI and the sacrifices made by generations of its members and supporters. Participants paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the struggle against dictatorship and emphasized the continuing importance of organized resistance for achieving democratic change in Iran.<\/p>\n

In Cologne<\/strong>, Iranian community members and MEK supporters gathered to mark the anniversary and honor the founders and fallen members of the organization. The gathering also provided an opportunity to highlight the aspirations of the Iranian people for freedom, democracy, equality, and an Iran free from dictatorship.<\/p>\n
