Malm\u00f6 rally condemns executions of January uprising protesters, honors Tehran\u2019s 1981 uprising and Zahedan\u2019s 2022 Bloody Friday.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
Malm\u00f6, Sweden \u2013 October 3, 2026:<\/strong> Supporters of the Iranian Resistance (PMOI<\/span><\/a> and NCRI<\/span><\/a>) held a rally and photo exhibition to condemn the Iranian regime\u2019s execution of protesters arrested during the January uprising, including Ali Hemmati and Majid Nikandish<\/a>, and to call for an end to the death penalty. They also commemorated the September 27, 1981 uprising in Tehran and honored the victims of **Zahedan\u2019s Bloody Friday<\/strong> in 2022.<\/p>\n**
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Participants strongly denounced the actions of Iran\u2019s ruling clerical regime, calling the executions a clear violation of fundamental human rights. Demonstrators honored the victims by displaying their photographs and called on the Swedish government to close the Iranian regime\u2019s embassy in Sweden, as a center for espionage and terrorism targeting freedom-seeking Iranians, particularly supporters of the Iranian Resistance. They reaffirmed their determination to continue the struggle against the regime until its overthrow and the establishment of a democratic republic founded on peace, freedom, and justice.<\/p>\n<p>Protesters also rejected all forms of dictatorship, whether <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"text-box-trim-both\">monarchical<\/span><\/a> or theocratic, emphasizing their opposition to both the rule of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shah<\/a> and the current mullah-led regime.
