The demonstrators condemned the executions carried out by the mullahs\u2019 regime, with particular emphasis on the execution of political prisoners and the ongoing wave of executions targeting protesters arrested during the uprisings across Iran. They also reiterated their call for an end to the death penalty.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Ahead of World Day Against the Death Penalty, Berlin Protesters Condemn Iranian Regime\u2019s Executions\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Uh2BtrYZo-A?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>Calls for Closure of the Iranian Embassy and Accountability<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The protesters called for the closure of the embassy, as a center of espionage and terrorism operated by the Iranian regime in Germany. They are also demanding accountability for the regime\u2019s systematic repression, human rights violations, and continuing executions in Iran.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"PDq2pG_selectionAnchorContainer\" dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"l7khej\" data-start=\"623\" data-end=\"677\">Against Dictatorship and for a Democratic Republic<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The sit-in reflects the protesters\u2019 opposition to both the clerical dictatorship and a return to the former monarchical system. Their position is expressed in the slogan, \u201cDown with the oppressor, be it the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/news\/society\/who-was-mohammad-reza-pahlavi-shah-irans-last-pahlavi-dictator\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Shah<\/a> or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncr-iran.org\/en\/editorial\/editorial-iran-and-mojtaba-khamenei-succession-without-legitimacy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Supreme Leader<\/a>.\u201d They say Iran\u2019s future should be based on a free and democratic republic rather than another form of dictatorship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The protesters support the establishment of a democratic republic based on Mrs. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/biography\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maryam Rajavi<\/a>\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.maryam-rajavi.com\/en\/viewpoints\/tomorrow-s-iran\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ten-Point Plan<\/a> and call for international recognition of the <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/iranian-resistance\/2026\/02\/announcement-of-a-provisional-government-by-the-national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/84244\/\">provisional government<\/a> proposed by the National Council of Resistance of Iran (<a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/\">NCRI<\/a>) as part of the transition toward a democratic Iran.<\/p>\n<h3>Calls for Action Against Iranian Security Networks and Support for Resistance Units<\/h3>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">They also call for stronger action against the Iranian regime\u2019s intelligence and security networks in Europe and for the expulsion of its agents and operatives from European soil.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Another key demand is international support for the <a href=\"https:\/\/english.mojahedin.org\/t\/iranian-resistance-units\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">MEK Resistance Units<\/a> inside Iran, which the protesters regard as an
