Malm\u00f6, Sweden \u2013 October 17, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Supporters of the Iranian Resistance held a rally in Malm\u00f6 to reaffirm their support for the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI<\/span><\/a>) as a democratic alternative to Iran\u2019s ruling religious dictatorship. The gathering took place ahead of the anniversary of October 22, 1993, when the NCRI elected Maryam Rajavi<\/a> as president-elect of the provisional government for a transitional period leading to the establishment of a democratic republic in Iran.<\/p>\n
