Toronto, Canada \u2013 October 17, 2026:<\/strong> Supporters of the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI\/MEK<\/a>) held a rally in Toronto to condemn executions in Iran, honor victims of the nationwide uprising, and draw attention to political prisoners and protesters facing the death penalty.<\/p>\n
<\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3 data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Protesters Condemn Executions in Iran<\/h3>\n<p>Demonstrators strongly condemned the Iranian regime\u2019s continued use of executions. They described these acts as flagrant violations of human rights.<\/p>\n<p>Participants held photographs of executed prisoners and victims of the uprising. Through this tribute, they honored those who lost their lives and highlighted the plight of political prisoners.<\/p>\n<p>The protesters called for an end to the death penalty in Iran. They called for its overthrow and the establishment of a democratic republic based on peace, freedom, and justice.<\/p>\n<p>The demonstrators stressed that the Iranian people reject all forms of dictatorship, whether <a href=\"https:\/\/iranfreedom.org\/en\/iranian-resistance\/2026\/02\/announcement-of-a-provisional-government-by-the-national-council-of-resistance-of-iran\/84244\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">monarchical<\/a> or theocratic. They called for a future in which the people of Iran can determine their own destiny through a democratic system.<\/p>\n<h3>Appeal for International Support<\/h3>\n<p>The rally organizers urged the Canadian public and the international community to stand with the Iranian people. They called for stronger international action to stop executions and secure the release of political prisoners.<\/p>\n<p>The rally highlighted the participants\u2019 demand for an end to repression in Iran.
