Iranian opposition supporters rally at Denfert-Rochereau, Paris<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since the beginning of 2018, the Iranian regime\u2019s\nterrorist activities against its opponents, especially the National Council of\nResistance of Iran (NCRI) and the People\u2019s Mojahedin Organization of Iran\n(MEK\/PMOI), has taken a new dimension.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iran under the mullahs is considered as the world\u2019s \u201cmost active state sponsor of terrorism.<\/a>\u201d The Iranian regime provides funding, weapons, training, and sanctuary to numerous terrorist groups\u2013most notably in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon\u2013posing a security concern to the international community<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tehran has used a wide range of its terrorist agents\nand mercenaries to assassinate Iranian dissidents around the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For decades, Tehran has been dispatching its operatives\nto Europe to carry out assassinations and other acts of terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mullahs regime uses terrorism as a tool of its statecraft, and it has no reservations about using that tool on any continent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iran\u2019s terror activities against\nthe Iranian resistance; the NCRI and the MEK\/PMOI, in 2018 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

March 2018-<\/strong> The mullahs agents intended to launch a mass\nkilling targeting the gathering of the PMOI\nmembers while celebrating Nowruz<\/a> (the Iranian New Year) in Albania. But Albanian intelligence services thwarted the\nterror operation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

June\n30, 2018\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013\nAuthorities in Belgium, France, and Germany arrested several Iranian\noperatives, including Assadollah Assadi, an Iranian diplomat stationed at the mullahs\nregime\u2019s Vienna embassy, in connection with a\u00a0bomb\nplot to be carried out against the grand gathering of the\u00a0National Council of Resistance\nof Iran<\/a>\nin Paris in June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

August 9, 2018:<\/strong> The US\narrested two Intelligence Ministry agents of the mullahs\u2019 regime, who were\nspying on and plotting against the PMOI\/ MEK and NCRI members in that country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

December 19, 2018:<\/strong>\u00a0Albania<\/a>\u00a0expelled Iran\u2019s ambassador to the country,\u00a0Gholamhossein Mohammadnia,<\/a> and another Iranian diplomat for \u201cinvolvement in activities that harm the country\u2019s security\u201d and for \u201cviolating their diplomatic status\u201d.\u00a0The expelled Iranians have plotted terrorist attacks in the country, including targeting MEK\\PMOI to silence dissidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday, Feb 8, 2019, Iranian opposition supporters (the supporters of NCRI\nand the MEK\/PMOI) will hold a rally at Denfert-Rochereau, Paris. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The participants will call on EU for the following<\/strong>:<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • The closure of Iranian embassies in Europe\nand the expulsion of all Iranian regime\u2019s terrorist diplomats from the European\nsoil.<\/li>
  • Expulsion of the mullahs\u2019 intelligence\nagents and mercenaries of the terrorist Qods Force from the U.S. and Europe.<\/li>
  • Designation of the Islamic\nRevolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the Ministry of Intelligence and Security\n(MOIS) of the Iranian regime as a whole, as terrorist entities by the U.S. and\nthe European Union.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
