A show of solidarity and an effort to raise awareness aimed at drawing attention to the human rights situation in Iran and supporting the struggle for freedom, democracy and an end to executions. On Friday, October 23, a meeting entitled \u201cNo to Executions, Yes to Supporting the Iranian Resistance\u201d was held in the Hall of Honors at Cuneo City Hall, bringing together institutional representatives, local officials and guests actively engaged in the issue.<\/p>\n
The initiative was organized with the support and cooperation of the Municipality of Cuneo, the Cuneo chapter of the ANPI (National Association of Italian Partisans), and the Association of Iranian Doctors and Pharmacists Residing in Italy. The meeting focused on denouncing repression and the death penalty in Iran, while calling for the protection of fundamental rights and the Iranian people\u2019s right to self-determination.<\/p>\n
