40 years ago in such days, the people of Iran marked the greatest change in the history of their homeland in the 20th<\/sup> century; Iran revolution, the outcome of a hundred years of struggle for freedom, independence, and justice. Unfortunately, they couldn\u2019t achieve their goals because Khomeini betrayed them<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the wish of people for a secular, democratic Iran never ended. And\nas such, we are witnessing more and more protests and uprisings in Iran,\nnationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this article<\/g> we intend to shed light on the true aspects of Iran revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The background<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One\nof the most important era in Iran\u2019s history in the last hundred years, was the\nsecular government of Dr. Mohammad Mosadeq. Having the support of the people of\nIran he was able to nationalize Iran\u2019s oil industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But\non August 19, 1953, the Shah, with the help of Mullah Kashani, Khomeini\u2019s true forefather,\nheld a coup d\u2019etat against Dr. Mosadeq\u2019s government. In this way the only\npopular government in Iran\u2019s history was overthrown. This coup d\u2019etat paved the\nway for the emergence of Khomeini in the years that followed. The Shah\nestablished SAVAK and advanced a brutal suppression to plunge the society in\ndespair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But the pioneers of Iran revolution, tolerating torture, execution and long term imprisonment, implanted the seed of hope for liberty right within the heart of the society. Due to the unprecedented perseverance of struggling organizations such as MEK\/PMOI,<\/a> the people took into the streets and eventually on February 11, 1979, the monarchic dictatorship was gone forever<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Iran revolution; stolen<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As\nthe uprisings and protests surged in 1978, Khomeini didn\u2019t hesitate to station\nhimself in France, despite living for years in Iraq. Misusing the desire of\nIranians for freedom, he claimed to be the leader of the revolution in the\nabsence of its true leaders who were then in chain at Shah\u2019s prisons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Khomeini, making a deal with the western appeasers was able to usurp the leadership of Iran revolution. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately,\nthis policy of appeasement which has last for 40 years has resulted in the\nsurvival of the number one state-sponsor of terrorism in the world; the primary\nvictims of which are the people of Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Emergence of fundamentalism as the new global threat<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In this manner, Iran revolution not only didn\u2019t reach its goal of freedom, but it also led to a callous theocratic dictatorship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 40-year dossier of these fundamentalist rulers is full of betrayals, devastations, misery and darkness. The water crisis<\/a>; ruined environment; polluted air; the problem of aerosols; the dire condition of the roads; suicide of the youths; unemployment; the spread of poverty, addiction and prostitution; and presold mines and resources and even the soil of Iran, are only a small part of this destruction. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\ncatastrophe does not end there. Khomeini\u2019s dream of Islamic Imperialism exports\nthe threat of fundamentalism over Iran\u2019s borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His\npersistence on continuing the Iran-Iraq war with millions casualty and\nthousands cities and villages destroyed, for eight years, is just one example\nof it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And\nthis wasn\u2019t the whole story. To reach his goal Khomeini established organs like\nIRGC. Warmongering and export of terrorism turned to an inseparable congenital\naspect of this regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For\nthat reason, expecting that someday, there would be an end to the devastating\npresence of this regime in the region is just a mirage. Without trying for\nexpansion, the main state-sponsor of terrorism cannot survive. Even its quest\nto achieve atomic bomb is because of that. And thus, announcing that it has put\nhis atomic project aside, as it has recently been revealed, was nothing but a sophistry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pioneers of Iran revolution, the main adversaries of fundamentalism<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In\nspite of an unleashed suppression, the Iranian people and their resistance\nnever stopped fighting this regime. Since 1979 there hasn\u2019t been a year that\nthe mullahs didn\u2019t fear the danger of being overthrown by the people and their\nresistance looming on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately\nin all these years the west has gone blind on the right of the Iranian people\nto achieve their freedom. They bombed and disarmed the main Iranian force that\ncould encounter this regime and overthrow it. If the west had stood with this\nforce of freedom it could have rid itself of fundamentalism and terrorism\nenrooting in this regime, more than a decade ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A shameful instance is neglecting the brutal suppression of 2009 uprising in Iran to encourage the mullahs to sign the catastrophic atomic deal. Pointing to the issue, the late senator, John McCain restated: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cNeda (the most prominent martyr of 2009 uprising) was killed but with open eyes, while we had closed ours\u201d. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

MEK; the arch-enemy of Shah and Khomeini<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

But Iranian\u2019s struggle for freedom never seized. Mr. Massoud Rajavi, the leader of MEK<\/a> and then a leader of Iran revolution but enchained by SAVAk<\/g> has said that Iran revolution never died and never turned to ashes and it will uproot the bloodthirsty regime of the mullahs, riding the history of its dictatorship<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason, of course, is the existence of a powerful and popular organization, the MEK\/PMOI<\/a> which Khomeini has named as \u201cthe arch-enemy<\/a>\u201d, and a coalition of freedom-loving forces, the National Council of Resistance of Iran<\/a> (NCRI) which has lasted for 37 years.
In reality, the MEK\/PMOI is the true face of Iran revolution with more than 120,000 of its members and supporters fallen for freedom. In just one summer (1988), 30,000 of them were hanged in what has become known in history as the \u201cmassacre of 1988<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MEK\/PMOI was the force that made the regime to accept a cease-fire <\/a>in Iran-Iraq war, making Khomeini drink \u2018the chalice of poison\u2019 as he put it himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The NCRI with the help of the\nMEK\/PMOI network\u2019s information from inside the country, revealed some one hundred\ncases regarding the regime intention for achieving atomic bomb. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through over 100 nuclear and missile revelations, the Iranian Resistance not only blocked the path to nuclear bomb for the regime, but the MEK turned the #Iran<\/a> regime\u2019s nuclear program into a hanging rope for the Ayatollahs.
