Iran\u2019s Municipality Workers\u2019 protests in January 2019<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under the mullahs rule, municipalities have morphed from\nan organ dedicated to serving the people to a center for usurpation.\nAstronomical embezzlements by regime\u2019s leaders in the Tehran municipality have\nlong been an open secret to the Iranian people and there is continuing dirty\ninfighting amongst regime factions to control this apparatus. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the reign of the mullahs, municipal services such as garbage collection, cleaning of the streets, irrigation of greenery, and public transportation have all been contracted away to regime\u2019s factions whose first priority is plundering the budget of the municipalities.
