Friday, October 1, 2021 — Freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran(PMOI/MEK) rallied, seeking justice for 1988 massacre martyrs, at the same time as the 23rd session of trial of the executioner Hamid Noury in Stockholm, Sweden.
Iranians, the MEK supporters called on the international community to prosecution of Iran’s regime officials involved in the 1988 massacre, especially supreme leader Ali Khamenei and regimes’ new president Ebrahim Raisi.
The message of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran(NCRI), condemning the execution of Abbas-Qoli Salehi was read at the rally. This oppressed prisoner was executed by the mullahs’ regime in Isfahan prison on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, after enduring 20 years in prison.
Mrs. Rajavi said:” Mr. Salehi’s execution in Isfahan after 20 years shows the cruelty of the clerical regime that cannot continue its rule for even one day without torture and executions”.
Mrs. Rajavi added: “Throngs of courageous Bakhtiaries and the brave residents of Yazdanshahr voiced their anger and resentment of the mullahs’ regime by attending the funeral procession of Abbas-Qoli Salehi, an innocent prisoner executed after 20 years of imprisonment.”
“Fearing the Iranian people’s wrath and opposition to the mullahs’ religious fascism, Khamenei selected Ebrahim Raisi, a mass murderer, as president. He thus tries in vain to prevent the escalation of people’s protests by stepping up torture and executions”.
“The international community should refer the dossier of the clerical regime’s crimes in #Iran to the UN Security Council and prosecute its leaders.”
