Hamburg Rally Condemns Iran’s Human Rights Violations and Escalating Executions, Demands Justice

Hamburg, Germany – June 5, 2025

On June 5, 2025, supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally and exhibition in Hamburg, Germany, to protest the Iranian regime’s escalating human rights abuses, particularly the death sentences imposed on political prisoners.

The event condemned the regime’s ongoing repression and demanded the immediate release of all political prisoners, while paying tribute to the martyrs of the Iranian Revolution—those executed or killed during uprisings.

Iranians in Hamburg also expressed solidarity with the “No to Execution Tuesdays” campaign in prisons across Iran and expressed their support for the call made by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), to join the ‘No to Executions’ campaign.

The rally’s organizers urged the German government to take decisive action by closing the Iranian regime’s embassy in Berlin and designating the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization.

Protesters reaffirmed their vision for a democratic, secular republic in Iran, rejecting both theocratic rule and any return to monarchy, while calling on the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s right to resist oppression and support the MEK Resistance Units fighting tyranny inside Iran.
