Oslo, Norway – April 28, 2026: Supporters of the Iranian Resistance held a rally to protest the execution of PMOI political prisoners.
The gathering also included a commemoration ceremony for three political prisoners—young protesters arrested during the January 2026 uprising and executed by the clerical regime. The event took place at the Milorg memorial site in Oslo, dedicated to Norway’s resistance movement during World War II.
Demonstrators drew parallels between the Norwegian resistance against fascism and the ongoing struggle of the Iranian people against the ruling regime. They called on the Norwegian government to take immediate action to stop executions in Iran and strongly condemned the mullahs’ regime, describing the executions as a blatant violation of human rights.
Participants paid tribute to the victims by holding their photos and reaffirmed their commitment to continue the struggle until the overthrow of the regime and the establishment of peace, freedom, and justice in a democratic republic. They also called for regime change and urged the Norwegian government to adopt a firm policy against the regime’s ongoing human rights violations.
Mr. Parviz Khazaei, the representative of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) in the Nordic countries, also participated in the rally.
Call for International Support
Organizers of the rally in Oslo urged the Norwegian public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s clear rejection of all forms of dictatorship, whether monarchical or theocratic.
