Hamburg, Germany – September 1, 2026: Supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) held a rally and photo exhibition in Hamburg to condemn executions carried out by Iran’s ruling regime and call for an end to the death penalty.

The participants urged the international community to take concrete action to halt executions in Iran and condemned the execution of PMOI political prisoners, as well as the continued detention and prosecution of protesters arrested during the January 2026 uprising. The event also expressed solidarity with the No to Executions” campaign, which calls for an end to the use of the death penalty in Iran.

Participants highlighted the Iranian people’s ongoing struggle against the ruling regime and called on the German government to take immediate action to halt executions in Iran. They denounced the regime’s use of capital punishment as a blatant violation of human rights.

Demonstrators displayed photographs of the victims and reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the struggle until a democratic republic based on peace, freedom, and justice is established. They also urged the German government to adopt a firm policy in response to the regime’s persistent human rights violations.

The organizers further called on the German public and the international community to recognize the Iranian people’s unequivocal rejection of all forms of dictatorship, whether monarchical or theocratic.
