On the 46th anniversary of the Iranian people’s anti-monarchical revolution of 1979, Resistance Units, an underground network supporting the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) undertook nine daring anti-repression campaigns in various cities, defying the regime’s oppressive security apparatus. These activities, carried out on February 10, 2025 (22 Bahman 1403), demonstrated the continued resistance against dictatorship and the Iranian people’s desire for democratic change.
The campaigns took place in Tehran, Ardabil, Rasht, Mashhad, Meshgin Shahr, and Urmia, where Resistance Units projected images of the leaders of the Iranian Resistance, Mr. Massoud Rajavi and Mrs. Maryam Rajavi. Alongside these images, slogans promoting the Iranian people’s democratic revolution and denouncing both past and present oppression were prominently displayed.
In Tehran, on Qods Boulevard, an image of Mr. Massoud Rajavi was projected with the slogan: “The Iranian People’s Democratic Revolution Will Triumph.”
Similar activities were carried out in Ardabil on Banafsheh, Andisheh, Niloufar, and Feyziyeh streets, where images of both Massoud and Maryam Rajavi appeared with slogans such as: “Death to the Oppressor, Be It the Shah or the Supreme Leader” and “The Bright Horizon of Freedom and Victory Has Emerged.”
In Rasht, on Gol Maryam Street, the Resistance Units projected an image of Massoud Rajavi with the slogan: “We Must Tear Apart the Chains of Religious Fascism.”
Meanwhile, in Mashhad, on Vila Street, images of both leaders appeared alongside the slogan: “Hail to Rajavi.”
The same slogan was displayed in Meshgin Shahr on Allameh Street. In Urmia, at Noh Peleh Square, the slogan “The Iranian People’s Democratic Revolution Will Triumph” accompanied an image of Massoud Rajavi.
These courageous actions took place despite the heightened alertness of the regime’s security forces, showcasing the unwavering determination of the Resistance Units to challenge the dictatorship. The activities not only served as a powerful message of defiance but also inspired hope among the Iranian people that the struggle for freedom and democracy continues.
The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) emphasized that these bold actions reflect the will of the Iranian people to reject tyranny in all its forms and move towards a free and democratic Iran. As the resistance grows, so does the Iranian people’s resolve to achieve the democratic revolution they have long fought for.
